President, Robotics and Autonomous Systems Business (RASB) ST Engineering Land Systems
Chandran is President, Robotics and Autonomous Systems of ST Engineering’s Land Systems arm. Prior to ST Engineering, Chandran was Vice President, Asia Pacific at National Instruments (NI). His tenure at NI started in 1997 and he was instrumental to the expansion of NI in the Asia Pacific. Chandran also led the team at NI to establish PXI as the multi-vendor instrumentation platform for the test and measurement market.
Chandran contributes at Board level to industry bodies, including Nanyang Polytechnic’s Centre of Innovation and Excellence, the Singapore University of Technology and Design, the Singapore Science Centre and Snow City.He holds a Bachelor's degree in physics, mathematics and chemistry, and a Master's degree in mathematics from Arizona State University.
